Bolt-Ons
Where additional support is required beyond the core partnership provision, bolt-on services can be scoped to suit the specific needs of the premises or portfolio. These typically include fire door surveys, compartmentation surveys, person centred fire risk assessments, fire safety training, evacuation drills and more detailed consultancy or fire strategy input. Bolt-ons are used where a higher level of technical input, site attendance or bespoke advice is needed and are agreed separately to ensure the scope remains proportionate to the level of risk and complexity involved.

Retrospective fire strategy development
Where a suitable fire strategy is not available, or existing information is incomplete, a retrospective fire strategy can be developed to establish the intended fire safety approach for the building. This involves reviewing the current layout, construction, fire safety systems and management arrangements, and aligning these with the functional requirements of the Building Regulations, including B1–B5.
The process is based on available information, site observations and reasonable assumptions where necessary, with any limitations clearly defined. The output provides a structured reference point for fire safety measures within the building and can be used to support ongoing management, future works, and discussions with enforcing authorities or Building Control.
Fire Evacuation Plans
Fire evacuation plans are provided as floor plan drawings, clearly setting out the building layout and key fire safety features to support evacuation. These plans typically show escape routes, final exits, call points, fire alarm equipment, firefighting equipment, refuges and assembly points where applicable.
They are intended to provide a clear visual reference for occupants and staff, supporting evacuation procedures and helping individuals understand how to exit the building safely in the event of a fire. Plans can be tailored to suit the specific layout, use and evacuation strategy of the premises.
Documentation Audits
Documentation audits provide a more structured review of fire safety records and management documentation to assess whether appropriate systems are in place and being maintained.
The audit considers whether records are complete, up to date and consistent with the expected fire safety arrangements for the premises. Findings are set out to highlight gaps, inconsistencies or areas where record keeping or management processes could be improved.
